The Cardiff GRT HM event takes place at the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay on 29th June 2010 (10.30 am until 2.30 pm).
The Cardiff event, which is free to the public, will provide a range of workshops and performances bringing together traditional crafts and performances:
– Young people from the Shirenewton Community will put on a show of their newly acquired circus skills working with the NoFit State Circus followed by performances of traditional Irish dancing by Kathleen Cassidy and modern hip hop by Daniel Flynn
– For members of the public impressed with the performance there will be an opportunity to try out your own skills in workshops run by the NFS
– The Cinetig animation company will be working with visitors to create animations bringing to life the story of the Woods family, who were some of the first Roma to settle in Wales
