Isaac Blake is now fully trained through ROMED and ACERT as a Mediator. This means that Isaac can facilitate solutions and negotiations between the Gypsy, Roma & Traveller communities and other groups, such as local authorities.
Isaac has already been using these skills to support the Welsh Government with consultation following some controversial UK legislation.
Work might included:
promoting the rights of the GRT community
supporting planning, monitoring & evaluation of local authority and statutory bodies
facilitating effective communication between the GRT community and agencies
facilitating a calm way forward when communication has broken down between the community and statutory bodies
There is likely to be a fee attached to this service when an organisation or statutory body requests support. There is unlikely to be a fee when members of the GRT community request support.
