The Children’s Society (UK)

This report, written by Heather Ureche and Myfanwy Franks, is one of the few to carry out a child-centred survey to explore the issues that young Roma, Gypsies and Travellers had suggested were important to them and that affected their daily lives. It examines the young people’s identity, traditions, education and the extent of their social inclusion. The report was produced in January 2007, but is still relevant to the circumstances many Romani and Traveller children find themselves in.
